“The North Pole?”  Silver exclaims, realizing she was uncomfortably close to Jack with her arms still around his neck, and pulled away in surprise.  “What’s in the North Pole that’s going to help me build a hou-“ She stopped mid-word as she understood what was going on.
“Not what,” said Jack.  “More like, who.  Come on, the wind’s outside!”  He shouted the last part because he had already raced away from the cavern and through the tunnel.  Silver let out a little laugh and a small shake of her head before following.  Life here with Jack Frost is going to be fun.
As Silver stepped out from the hidden passageway, the rock door closed with a small click and disappeared into the boulder that contained it.  She looked around.  Where did Jack go?  A sound from the forest caught her attention, making her figure that’s where he was.
Before she could take a step, a noise from the sky startled her.  A shadowy looking airplane was in the sky, falling.  She saw several figures jumping out and parachutes opening as the plane spiraled downward.  Silver stared in horror as the plane crashed not too far from her in the forest, then a touch on her shoulder seemed to make it all disappear, the smoke from the crash and the dark parachuting people.
She whipped around; her silver and blonde hair flying as she faced the magical person who made it go away.  Jack was standing there, a look of concern on his face.
“Silver, what was that?”  He asked quietly.  Closing to breaking, Silver slumped onto the snowy ground, ignorant to the cold wetness.  She looked at Jack, who crouched next to her.
“That,” she said.  “Looked exactly like the plane crash I survived, the plane crash that caused the death of my parents.  She was fighting very hard now not to cry, because Jack had already seen her crying once and she would prefer he didn’t again.
He placed a hand on her shoulder comfortingly.  “Don’t worry; you don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to.”  Silver smiled at him gratefully.  “What I am wondering is where did that come from, and why did it disappear?”
Silver answered, “I’m not sure.  But it looked like the scene was made out of some kind of darkness.”  She thought about how crazy that sounded.  “I mean, there’s no way darkness can make something but-“  Jack cut her off.
“But there is,” he said.  She looked at him strangely.  “I’m not one hundred percent sure yet, but I think I know who that might be.”  He shook his head.  “Don’t worry about it now, though.  Let’s get to the North Pole.”  Silver nodded in agreement and stood up after him.
Putting his arm around her waist, they shot into the sky towards what Silver assumed was North.  Blushing furiously, but looking away so Jack couldn’t see, she thought, why does he always do this?  And why do I always get all blushy!?
Sneaking a peak at Jack’s hand that rested on her side, she could see it was awkwardly placed, and looking at his face she could see the blush in his too.  Or maybe it was from the cold wind blasting at them.  Maybe not.
The fly from Jack’s home to the North Pole wasn’t too bad, and they made it there quickly.  As they touched the ground, Jack took his hand from Silver’s waist and put it into his hoodie pocket, probably not as smoothly as he wanted to.  Silver laughed inwardly.
Sweeping her eyes around, she could tell this place was HUGE.  She could see yeti-like creatures walked around in a hurried fashioned through the windows, and there many bells jingling inside.
“Wow,” breathed Silver.  Jack walked up and stood next to her.
“If you think it’s amazing already, wait until you get inside.”  She looked at him with excitement sparkling in her iridescent eyes.
“Then what are we waiting for?”  She asked, and practically skipped up the front door, knocking quite excitedly.  Answering almost immediately was a very tall and furry brown and white yeti, who looked from her to Jack standing a couple steps behind.  He opened the door fully and led them inside.
